The Children of Tola Bali, Shot in Indonesia
When our dive boat arrived at the village of Tola Bali, on the Indonesian island of Pura (near Alor), we were greeted by dozens of the village's children, canoeing and swimming out to pose for photographs, and get a handout of something sweet. Most have homemade goggles, no fins, or even bathing suits. But that doesn't slow them down at all. The smiles, laughs, and frolicking were highly contagious, with many of the divers jumping into the water to play along with the kids.
