  • A lucky horse grazes under the spectacular Mt. Gower, Lord Howe Island, Australia.  Lord Howe Island is home to the world's southern-most coral reef.  Ocean currents flow southward from the Great Barrier Reef, bringing coral larvae, which settle and thrive here.  The small island is home, at least for part of the year, for thousands of seabirds, including boobies, frigates, and tropic birds.  It is truly a stunningly beautiful place.
